My Grandma’s Cook Books

Posted by admin under family, food, personal

My grandmother is a good chef. All the food that she cooks tastes perfect. She is also very industrious. She cleans their house regularly as well as her garden. She loves plants. She always plants vegetable seeds because she wants the vegetables that she cooks to be fresh and natural. She has a shelf at her room that is full of cook books. There is a book about cooking desserts, baking cakes, as well as books about Easy Recipes for Kids. I enjoy reading all of her books and I also learned many things from them. She is also teaching me how to cook and clean the house. She wants me to be very responsible.

She always bakes cakes and pastries. They smell really good. I love putting designs on them and different candies and icing. But what I love the most is eating. Baking is fine with me but not really my thing. I will bake cakes only if I have to or if I’m told to. I would rather play sports than cook. I am more of an athlete than a cook.

I have many things from my grandma, many lessons in life. And if you want to succeed in something, you must work really hard for it. You must have determination as well as inspiration. And the most important thing is that you should love what you are doing.

Getting Along with Siblings

Posted by admin under family

There is no single person who can stay sweet at all times. There will always be a time when you find yourself in this agreement with your own brother or sister. It is also normal for you to feel very close to one sibling and quite “allergic” to the others. Be thankful for the one you loved so dearly but find your way through with the others. Time brings changes in relationships. Some of your acquaintances will tell you that they never appreciated each other until they became adults. One thing is sure, though, there is always hope to make relationships better, that is, if you honestly want one.

Understanding is the key to establishing better relationships with your siblings. If you try to understand why people act the way they do, this will lead you to the next step, that of helping your siblings understand why you behave as you do. Looking at the two sides of the coin is the best way towards better sibling relationship.
